Laser for Xanthelasma
How does Laser for Xanthelasma work?
Xanthelasma occurs when deposits of cholesterol build up under the skin. These harmless yellow growths appear on or near the corners of the eyelids. There are a variety of ways to treat Xanthelasma. At Aesthetic Solutions, this is treated with resurfacing lasers. By delivering energy deep into the skin, we can remove the Xanthelasma while causing minimal trauma to the surrounding healthy tissue.
Is Laser for Xanthelasma safe?
Resurfacing Lasers have an excellent safety profile. Your treatment plan and exact lasers used will be determined at a consultation. At the beginning of your treatment, an eye shield will be placed in the eye as an added safety precaution.
Laser for Xanthelasma downtime
