Dr. Cox served as Principal Investigator for this study aiming to assess changes in scalp and hair health using (plated) topical exosome serum among menopausal and postpartum females with self-perceived thinning hair and eyebrows. Additionally, a topical exosome serum was used on the face to evaluate effects on aging facial skin. This study began May 2025 and ended February 2026.

Dr. Cox served as Principal Investigator for this multicenter, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, single-dose Phase 2 Study evaluating the safety and efficacy of JTM201 (Botulinum toxin type A) to treat moderate or severe glabellar lines. The study began in April 2023 and concluded in August 2025.

Nasolabial Folds Filler 2404-101

Dr. Cox served as Principal Investigator on this clinical trial “A randomized, evaluator-blinded, parallel group, comparator-controlled, multicenter study to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of GP0116 for correction of moderate to severe dynamic facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds.” This is for a new filler that is not yet FDA approved. Dr. Cox was very impressed with this new product and we hope to see it on the market soon! This study began February 20223 and ended February 2026.

Dr. Cox is served as Principal Investigator for this randomized, blinded evaluator, no-treatment control, multicenter, prospective, clinical study of RHA®4 for the correction of sagging jawline. RHA4 produces beautiful results along the jawline, and we were happy to see this area being evaluated. This study began in September 2023 and ended in February 2026.

Dr. Cox completed work as Principal Investigator for this study evaluating the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of a new injectable product to reduce belly fat. Dr. Cox found mixed results with this product. We hope to see more innovations in this exciting new area of noninvasive fat reduction. This study began in May 2023 and completed in December 2024.

Dr. Cox completed work as Principal Investigator for the study A Randomized, no-treatment-controlled, evaluator-blinded, multi-center study to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of Restylane Contour in the treatment of temple hollowing. 

Dr. Cox has long been using HA filler in the temple region to correct hollowing, improve overall facial contour and lift the brow. We hope to see this indication approved and more widely used in practice! This study began in March 2023 and ended in February 2025.

Dr. Cox completed work as Principal Investigator for this study evaluating the effectiveness and safety of a new injectable filler (Galderma GP109) for jawline definition. This study began in August 2022 and ended in November 2024. We hope to see this product on the market in the future!
