How does CoolSculpting Elite work?
CoolSculpting Elite utilizes the same CoolSculpting technology we know and love. During treatment, a controlled cooling process called cryolipolysis targets stubborn fat cells. Over the weeks that follow, targeted fat cells are naturally and permanently eliminated from the body. CoolSculpting Elite can be used to treat most areas with stubborn fat, including under the chin, arms, “bra fat,” back, abdomen, flanks, inner and outer thighs and above the knees. Coolculpting Elite uses all new applicators, allowing up to 18% more coverage for certain treatments.
Is CoolSculpting Elite safe?
The FDA has cleared CoolSculpting Elite to safely treat unwanted fatty bulges. It has an excellent safety profile. Like any medical procedure, selecting a qualified provider is important. Aside from a few medical contraindications, the biggest risk is contouring irregularities from improperly placed applicators. Be sure your provider is properly trained and supervised, and their equipment is current and well maintained.
