How does Laser for Rhinophyma work?
Rhinophyma is a skin disorder that causes the nose to enlarge and become red, bumpy, and bulbous. Rhinophyma is thought to result from untreated, severe rosacea. When left untreated, Rhinophyma can severely alter the shape of the nose. We use ablative lasers to treat Rhinophyma, as this allows us to laser away the affected tissue while restoring a normal shape to the nose. By delivering energy deep into the skin, we can remove the Rhinophyma while causing minimal trauma to the surrounding healthy tissue.
Is Laser for Rhinophyma safe?
Resurfacing Lasers have an excellent safety profile. Your treatment plan and exact lasers used will be determined at a consultation.
Laser for Rhinophyma downtime

Optimal results are seen as the area heals. Patients are typically happy with results one month after treatment, with optimal results at three months. A series of sessions may be recommended based on the severity of the Rhinophyma.
