How does Brella SweatControl Patch work?
The Brella SweatControl Patch uses a bi-layer patch to generate heat precisely at the site of the water (sweat). TAT (Targeted Alkali Thermolysis) Technology uses localized thermal energy to target sweat glands and temporarily reduce their production. The patch is applied to a dry underarm and takes just three minutes. Patients can expect a reduction in underarm sweating for 3-4 months. To optimize results, arrive to your appointment with no deodorant on and shave underarms 48 hours prior to treatment.
Is Brella SweatControl Patch safe?
Brella is the first and only FDA Cleared single use, disposable sweat patch. Brella is an aluminum free solution to underarm sweating, and is safe for all skin types. Dr. Cox stresses the importance of finding an experienced provider directly supervised by an on-site physician who understands the finer points of the Brella treatment.
