Anti-Aging In Your 50s
By your 50s, the effects of aging are settling in. You may not feel different physically than your 30s, but it’s all too easy to look in the mirror and think, “where has the time gone?”
It’s easy to get discouraged if you look in the mirror and grow concerned that the time for non-invasive solutions has passed. For many women, the fear of unnatural results is a deterrent for surgical solutions – leaving them feeling like they’re out of options.
The good news? Just because you’re in your 50s doesn’t mean you can’t age gracefully, even if you’re just starting treatment now. Our goal is to match how you feel on the inside, with how you look on the outside – all without a scalpel.
Anti-Aging Treatments in Your 50s
Neuromodulators (Botox, Dysport, Daxxify, Jeuveau)
In your 50s, continue to get these injections every 3-4 months for fine lines and wrinkles. You may consider trying neuromodulators in your neck, for “necklace bands”.
Fillers
A routine part of your plan against anti-aging, get fillers 2-3 times per year for facial symmetry and volume loss. This may be a good time to begin treating volume loss in the temples.
As you age, fillers may take on a new purpose. Used properly, some fillers can serve as a biostimulate – meaning they aid in the collagen production process. Used on the neck, chest, abdomen, arms, hands, inner and other thighs and buttocks, fillers can help with sagging, crepey skin.
Sofwave
Remember when we talked about the aging process? Bones shrinking and fat pads shifting? As things start to head south and collagen production comes to a halt, Sofwave uses ultrasound technology to once again trigger the body’s natural collagen production process. The result is more lifted, tightened skin. Sofwave can be used on the face and neck and should be done yearly for best results.
Sculpt+Lift
Exclusive to Aesthetic Solutions, the Sculpt+Lift Jawline and Neck Treatment is a 3-step process combining minimally invasive techniques to Sculpt and Lift sagging, loose skin in the jawline, neck and jowls. Don’t let loose skin or sagging skin stop you from the jawline you’ve always wanted.
Fraxel or Halo Pro
Just like in your 40s, you should do one laser treatment roughly every year for concerns like fine lines and wrinkles, skin tone and texture and pore size. As you get older your skin thins, and lasers are the best way to maintain thicker, healthy skin. Continue to maintain these results with treatments like Clear + Brilliant or RF Microneedling/CoolPeel.
