About Dr. Ishii
Lisa Ishii, MD is a board certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training in cosmetic and laser dermatologic surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Genetics and Cellular Biology from the University of Georgia and attended the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University to obtain her medical degree. Dr. Ishii then completed her internship and dermatology residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Dr. Ishii then completed cosmetic and laser dermatologic surgery fellowship through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego, CA. Dr. Ishii is committed to advancing the field of cosmetic dermatology and has participated in more than 30 clinical trials studying topicals, injectables, and lasers/energy-based devices. She is passionate about collaborating with her patients to help them look and feel their very best by combining up to date medical evidence and an artistic eye.

Dr. Ishii traveled to Baltimore, MD for the ASLMS 2024 Annual Meeting. Dr. Ishii gave a lecture on the treatment of reticular spider veins and abstract presentation on IPL.

Dr. Ishii spoke on a variety of topics including skin cancer surveillance, skincare regimens, acitretin, and urticaria in newborns at Vanderbilt Dermatology General Grand Rounds.
