The CoolTone device will be widely available in late 2019. Dr. Cox has conducted research on many body contouring devices, and is the only physician in North and South Carolina to have the beta device now.
CoolTone’s Magnetic Muscle Stimulation, or MMS technology, penetrates through the skin and fat layers to target only the muscle layer, inducing involuntary muscle contractions. The body’s response to these contractions is to strengthen its muscle fibers, resulting in improved muscle conditioning. After treatments, abdomen, buttocks, and thighs are firmer and have a more defined and toned appearance.
This patient has noticeable improvement in abdominal muscles and more of an hourglass figure post CoolTone
Is it safe?
The CoolTone device is FDA-cleared for toning, firming, and strengthening the muscles of the abdomen, buttocks, and thighs. Like any medical procedure, it’s important to work with an experienced team that can rule out contraindications to treatment as well as determine whether you’re a good candidate.
How long does recovery take?
CoolTone is extremely well tolerated and feels like an intense workout. There is no downtime or pre/post treatment preparation.
What kind of results can I expect?
Visible signs of improvement are typically reported 2-4 weeks after the last session and continue to improve for several weeks following. Individual results may vary. A minimum of 4 treatments is recommended.
