Payvand Kamrani, DO is a board certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training in cosmetic and laser dermatologic surgery. Dr. Kamrani performs a variety of treatments including general dermatologic concerns, injectables, laser resurfacing, vein reduction and various other procedures.
A Triangle native who grew up in Chapel Hill, NC, Dr. Kamrani is a board certified dermatologist with advanced fellowship training in cosmetic and laser dermatologic surgery. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Science from North Carolina State University and attended the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) to obtain her medical degree. Dr. Kamrani then completed her internship at Tower Health Hospital and dermatology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident during her final year of training. Following residency, Dr. Kamrani completed a cosmetic and laser dermatologic surgery fellowship through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery at Cosmetic Laser Dermatology in San Diego, CA.
Dr. Kamrani’s approach focuses on natural results, healthy skin, and subtle enhancements to help you become the best version of yourself, blending medical and cosmetic care for a truly comprehensive experience.
Her commitment to advancing the field of dermatology includes nearly 30 peer-reviewed publications and 15 clinical trials. Dr. Kamrani has a passion for giving back to the community, including service trips to provide medical care in Ghana and Guatemala, volunteering as a counselor at an overnight camp for children with chronic skin conditions, and organizing an annual free skin cancer screening event.
