Sue Ellen Cox, M.D., a dermatologic surgeon and board certified dermatologist, is the founding medical director of Aesthetic Solutions in Chapel Hill. Established in 1996 with her husband, J. Charles Finn, M.D., a double-board certified surgeon specializing in facial plastic & reconstructive surgery, Aesthetic Solutions has swiftly evolved into one of the nation’s premier private practices.
Dr. Cox and Dr. Finn combine their complementary skills in cosmetic dermatology and facial plastic surgery to perform the most technologically innovative cosmetic surgery in the region. Aesthetic Solutions offer patients the advantage of specialized skills not typically available together in private practice. They are available to join forces, offering joint consultations for rejuvenation resulting in more options and specialized care.
Dr. Cox and Dr. Finn are a team at home as well as in the office and have been married since 1989. They met while attending medical school at Case Western Reserve University. They have three beautiful children, Caitlin, Garrett, and Liam. They are a very active family and love to travel. Skiing and scuba diving are among their favorite family adventures.
Dr. John M. Soderberg, our new dermatologist who has been personally hand-selected Dr. Finn and Dr. Cox to join Aesthetic Solutions will begin July 2008. You might have had the opportunity to meet Dr. Soderberg before, we’ve had the pleasure of having Dr. Soderberg here in the office to observe with both Dr. Cox and Dr. Finn several times over the past year. In addition to his dermatolgical expertise, Dr. Soderberg has extensive training in laser surgery for both medical and cosmetic treatments. Dr. Soderberg lives in Durham with his wife, Kelly, and young daughter Anelise, and their family will welcome twins, a boy and a girl, in late summer.
